This gun is an early PH 12 gauge gun made on a 1-1/2 Frame. It features double triggers, extractors, and automatic safety. The gun has typical PH grade engraving with small bursts of scroll on all sides. The buttstock appears to be an early period replacement and has a ball grip and is checkered in a two point pattern through the wrist. The gun has much nicer than average wood for a P grade gun with a 14 - 5/8" length of pull over the Parker Bros. Dogs head rubber buttplate. The 26" twist barrels have standard markings and appear factory length with a full length matted top rib and steel front bead. Splinter forearm with Deeley release and usual P Grade checkering pattern. CONDITION: Good. No original color remains. Barrels retain about 80% original pattern. Stocks may be older replacements and retain most of an ancient restored finish with buttplate slightly oversized. Screws are mostly crisp. Stocks with some handling marks and bruising but sound. Mechanics are fine. Bores are good with scattered orange peel and fowling, and may clean up. JSL2
