Manufactured in 1889. Features a full octagon barrel, full magazine, crescent buttplate, elevated adjustable buckhorn rear sight, nickel plated blade front sight, brass elevator with caliber marking, blued finish, and walnut stocks. Barrel legends are sharp and easily legible. CONDITION: Receiver and lever retain 70-75% of reapplied finish with areas of loss and thinning turning a grey and brown patina. Barrel has turned a soft brown patina and shows traces of blue finish. Magazine tube retains 90%+ of reapplied blue finish. Buttplate has turned a grey brown patina. Wood has added finish and exhibits signs of light handling wear. Wood is shy to buttplate at toe. Bore is perfectly restored with a contemporary liner that has been expertly installed. Action is smooth and locks up tightly.
