Early 1900s Eley cartridge board featuring approximately 160 rifle and pistol cartridges. Housed in a replacement wood frame with liner covered in a green pool table type material. The original board is a tan wood grain color with a graphically stylized title printed in dark red and black that reads: "ELEY'S SOLID-DRAWN AMMUNITION FOR RIFLES AND REVOLVERS" with the Eley trademark-monogram located in the center. Measuring 25 - 1/4" wide by 31 - 1/2" tall. CONDITION: Partially restored with replacement frame and liner. The board/background has water staining on the bottom left corner along with a fracture to the base material. Original cartridge cases have a nice light patina to the brass. All items, with exception of one, are securely fastened to the board. PROVENANCE: From the collection of Nathan Posner, former owner of the San Francisco Gun Exchange and most recently on display at the Buffalo Bill Historical Museum of Cody, Wyoming. -MKS-
