This rifle has been restored to as new condition by Charlie Jones of Precision Gun Works in Kerrville, TX in the mid 1990's and features incredible XXX fire grain walnut. Features sporting front sight and Winchester semi-buckhorn rear sight. CONDITION: The frame, forend cap, hammer, lever and buttplate retain all of the newly applied case colors. Full octagon barrel and tube are more recent but properly marked; barrel has the vast majority of its blue finish. Tube has turned a copper-brown. Mint and unfired bore. This would be a great shooter as it is basically a brand new rifle. Still a real Winchester with lovely case colors and some of the best wood we have seen on a lever action rifle.
