Basically an updated Model 1897 that still features the full octagon barrel, full magazine, takedown, case color frame, walnut stocks, classic swept back pistol grip, and Marlin monogrammed buttplate. The front and rear sights are standard sporting style. CONDITION: Barrel and tube retain approximately 90% original factory bright blue with some minor age spotting. The frame retains 90% bright case color. The bolt retains most of its original bright blue. The stock is excellent. Fine sharp bore and action.
