Basically an updated Model 1897 that still features the full octagon barrel, full magazine, takedown, case color frame, walnut stocks, classic swept back pistol grip, and Marlin monogrammed buttplate. The front and rear sights are standard sporting style. CONDITION: Barrel and tube retain approximately 90% original factory bright blue. The frame retains 80% bright case color on left side with about 50% on right. The bolt retains half of its original bright blue. The stock is excellent. There are two extra holes on left side of frame for scope mount. Fine sharp bore and action.
