Introduced in 1896 and made until 1916. Easily identified by the conventional trigger with guard rather than spur trigger. Rare 18" barrel in .22 caliber. Matching number on barrel and frame. Fixed globe front sight and the rear sight is a folding leaf style referred to as Stevens Combination Sights (page 81). CONDITION: Nickel plated frame retains 98% of its original finish. Barrel retains at least 90% factory blue with some patina showing through finish. Strong clean rifling. Working extractor. 90% original nickel on unnumbered metal stock. This sights featured can be found mounted on this pistol on page 81 in the book entitled "Stevens Pistols and Pocket Rifles" by Kenneth Cope. Grips are refinished. This is an fine example of a long barreled Stevens.
