Introduced in 1896 and made until 1916. Easily identified by the conventional trigger with guard rather than spur trigger. This has the special order sash hook usually found on the Lord model. Matching number on barrel and frame. The front sight is a fixed blade and is not cut for a rear sight. The grip strap is tapped for the Stevens tang sight but it is missing. CONDITION: Nickel plated frame retains 85% of its original finish. Barrel retains 20% factory blue blending patina and some minor age freckling. Strong clean rifling. Working manual extractor. 90% original nickel on unnumbered metal stock. Grips are excellent. There is a star stamped on barrel which might indicate some factory work at one time.
