Lot consists of: (A) Unique mirror polished skinning knife with original edge, featuring stippled brass guard, collar and handle pins. Blade is etched "Thourot" over "MWT" over "Napoleon, OH". The single finger grip and contoured handles feature polished antler scales. No sheath. CONDITION: Appears unused with light edge damage and rust spots near the tip. Handles show light shrinkage. (B) Mirror polished hunting knife with a clip-shaped blade, etch of "Thourot" over "MWT" over "Napoleon, OH", and its original edge. Features a stippled single guard with lower collar, a dropped, index finger grip with dyed burlwood handles. The scales are assembled with mosaic pins and red liners. No sheath. CONDITION: Knife presents as-new and unused. (C) Mirror polished drop point hunting knife with a hidden tang, displaying a bright stippled guard and butt cap, surrounding a well-figured stag handle. Blade is etched "Thourot" over "MWT" and "Napoleon, OH", and marked no. 253. No sheath. CONDITION: Unused with a large open crack in the stag handle. (D) A handsome, mirror polished upswept clip-point Bowie knife, with the maker's etch of "Thourot" over "MWT" over "Napoleon, OH". The knife features a polished guard, dyed and stabilized burlwood handles with red liners and Loveless bolts. No sheath. CONDITION: Unused with light rust spots on the blade. Mike Thourot (MWT Custom Knives) of Napoleon, OH has been designing and crafting knives for well over 35 years. Mr. Thourot always and continues to craft each of his knives by hand, so no two are alike. For him, knives simply are ""...fun to use...fun to design, and...fun to make."
