Lot consists of: (A) An impressive semi-skinner with a brushed finish, "Ruana" mark in script, jimping on the spine for thumb purchase, a single brass guard, and a polished stag handle with a maple section in middle, divided with brass and black spacers. No sheath. CONDITION: Unused, the knife presents as mint with scattered surface spots. (B) A beautifully made CB CK bowie knife with a brushed finish, elk antler handle, a single brass guard accented with a pair of black and brass spacers, completed with a brass pommel cap. No sheath. CONDITION: The knife is unused. Mint with multiple scattered surface spots. (C) A beautifully finished and very special bowie knife, this is Ruana's 60th Anniversary Limited Edition, of which only 100 were made. Set in its original presentation box, the knife features a finely brushed finish, with "Sixtieth Anniversary 1938-1998 Limited Edition" as well as the "Ruana" script signature engraved into the blade. The large clip point is highlighted with a brass guard, combined wood and stag handle, brass and black spacers and a solid brass pommel cap. No sheath. CONDITION: The knife appears mint and unused, and is still sealed in wood and glass presentation box. Ruana Knife Works of Bonner, Montana has been making their famous knives since 1938, in the same shop, by the same dedicated family of craftsmen. Founded by their patriarch Rudy Ruana, he first began making knives on the side to help his family out following the great depression. Mr. Ruana's work was successful enough that he went full time in 1952, and the rest, as they say, was history.
