Manufactured in Brooklyn from 1861-63, quantity approximately 58,000 total. It is a seven shot, single action with octagon barrel. Features factory engraved brass frame and one piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Brass has traces of plating while metal is grey patina. Sharp legends on barrel. Action indexes and locks up correctly. Grips are very good with chip at toe. Very good rifling but dirty. These were popular during the war.
