Offered is a spectacular 1903 made during the low production years between the two wars in 1923. Standard features to include "5-23 SA" dated barrel, 1903 front and rear sights, all milled parts, smooth buttplate, sling swivels, smooth trigger, and slightly swept bolt. Fine walnut stocks have the "DAL" Daniel Leary inspector stamp used from 1918-42. Block "P" on wrist. Rifle comes with an original bayonet and scabbard. CONDITION: Metal retains nearly all of the original factory matte finish. Stocks are near mint with just a few minor handling marks. The bore is near mint. ME reading: 1. TE reading: 0. Even the buttplate retains most of its original finish. One would be hard pressed to find any better.
