Winchester takedown rifle made in 1918. Octagon barrel. Standard configuration. Barrel markings on the left side. CONDITION: Receiver retains 75% original blue having thinned in areas but still retaining that famous mirror bright Winchester blue. Barrel and tube retain 85% original thinning blue. Buttplate, collar, and nosecap have a mottled appearance from the blue having been worn/flaked over time. Receiver screws may have been replaced. Wood has some dings and light handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. A very sharp and clean classic take down model 1894 Sporting rifle. GR
