Lot contains: (A) Two olive drab flight bags with light wear, stains, and some dryness to the leather components. CONDITION: Very good. (B) Amazing flight bag to a NCO of the famous "Jolly Rogers" of the 5th Air Force in the Pacific theater of WWII. Bag has all three emblems painted on and is named to a "Tsgt Joseph J. Vasami" on both sides. Blackened bombs on the back side reflect 35 missions. Khaki fabric has light staining but is intact. Metal fittings have freckling, and leather trim is dry and flaking over 40%. Zippers have patina and the front one is not functional. CONDITION: Very good overall. (D) Large stack of WWII and postwar military aviation documents, with a military issue duffle bag. CONDITION: Very good. (E) Cotton flight jacket with a sheepskin wool collar and fleece lining. USAAF patch sewn to the left shoulder, with two slash front pockets, and zipper pull missing. CONDITION: Very good. Lot also includes a U.S. WWII May West Life Preserver.
LOT OF 6: USAAF FLIGHT BAGS, USAAF JACKET, DUFFLEBAG, AND PAPERWORK.
