Kriegsmarine tropical M41 cap maker (perhaps "hpr") and size marked (59), with the a name tag (Peter) sewn inside. Cap exhibits very light wear to its tan rough cotton exterior with dark green cotton lining. The top of the eagle has been sewn first, then folded down, and machine zig-zag stitched before the lining was added. The normal way to attach such insignia. The tropical cockade has also been machine zig-zag stitched before the lining was added. There are four zinc two-piece ventilation rivets on the sides. The brim of the cap has a stiffener inside. CONDITION: Near mint.
