Fantastic cosmetically restored high condition Willy’s MB (Jeep) manufacture in the last year of production in 1945 (4/7/1945). A total of 36,000+ Willy’s MBs where manufactured and used by the US and Allied Armed Forces and saw widespread use by U.S. forces during World War II on all fronts. Stenciled USMC 433362, this is a rare relatively untouched barn find from Vermont. This MB is fully operational. This vehicle has the original I4 “Go Devil” 4-cylinder 134 L head engine with 36,403 miles on the odometer. A Warner T84J transmission, and Spicer 18 Transfer case. The rear axle is a Dana 27 and front axle is a Dana 25. The vehicle has 5 (4+1 Spare) newer Denman Military 6.00 X 16LT non directional tires. It is fitted with a high condition Top Deck Paulin Assembly Numbered FM-GPW-1152700 / WO-A-3216 and has an additional Willys Paulin accompanying the vehicle. An original styled Military gas can, can be found correctly mounted on the back of the vehicle. It appears the only non-original modification would be the conversion from the original 6v electric system to a modern 12V system. Paperwork includes the original bill of sale to the current owner. Condition: Very good as partially restored. Serviced in March of 2019, this vehicle has been completely "tuned up", including new spark plugs and distributor cap and wires, new battery, new oil filter and oil, new water pump, and all joints have been greased. Replacement paint is slightly off color with satin sheen and is beginning to flake in isolated areas. The original engine is running and tuned with intact and operational gauges. The frame is coated with an older heavy frame coating (possibly original) and the underside of the body (tub) shows signing of scaling oxidation, that should clean up well. There are two small holes in the Driver’s side floor below the cowling post, easily repaired by any skilled welder. Seats are in very good condition with no apparent rips, tears or heavy stains. Paulin is also in very good condition with no apparent rips, tears or heavy stains. The undercarriage and drivetrain are covered with typical grease and oil, and dirt from use. A great find for the World War II military vehicle enthusiast, looking for a street legal “Jeep”. This vehicle is located off-site and will not be at Morphy Auctions for preview. It is located in Thetford Vermont and is available for inspecting by appointment only prior to the sale. The buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle post auction and all associated costs. This lot is sold “as is” with no written or expressed amount of mechantability and/or warranty. JTH
