Lot contains: (A) Waffen SS skull removed from an overseas cap, (B) Wehrmacht Panzer and Infantry assault badges, and (C) Demjansk campaign shield. (A) Machine embroidered Waffen SS Bevo skull orignally sewn to an overseas cap which has been cut off the cap, as commonly done by US combat veterans on the battlefield. Skull is correctly hand applied, and the rear has the center seam of a overseas cap present. A very uncommon and desireable piece! CONDITION: Very good with two rust stains on skull. (B) Zinc Silver Panzer assault badge made by "f.o." with less than 10% of its silver finish remaining. Unmarked zinc Infantry assualt badge with approximately 40% of its silver finish remaining. CONDITION: Both are good condition. (C) Demjansk campaign shield attached via four prongs to Feldgrau wool, and backed by a steel plate. Front of badge has some light freckling and rear plate exhibits 80-85% freckling. CONDITION: Front presents nicely, but overall good condition.
