Lot contains: (A) Heer dagger, (B) Red Cross Hewer dagger, and (C) Hitler Youth dagger. (A) Late Heer dagger with a nickel plated blade marked "Eickhorn, Solingen" with light runner and scattered marks, light freckling, and stains. Late plated zinc fittings have nicks on the pommel edges and one arm of the cross guard, with patina to the remainder of the fittings. Late trylon grip has light stains. Correct portepee is attached. Later quality scabbard and fittings have a nice patina with numerous light nicks, scrapes, and bubbled areas. Correct hanger with light wear is attached. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. (B) Red Cross Hewer dagger with a serrated and marked blade (unidentifiable), with light staining and freckling. Plated fittings retain 60-65% of their original plated finish. Black grips have light wear. Steel scabbard retains approximately 70% of its original black painted finish, with scattered marks and a large area of freckling in the middle. Plated fittings are dull. Retains it correct frog with aluminum rivets. CONDITION: Dagger is very good to excellent, and scabbard is good. Overall very good condition. (C) Hitler Youth dagger with a blade made by "Hartkopf & Co., Solingen", with the standard HJ motto and moderate scattered marks, and light areas of freckling. Nickel plated steel fittings have only light wear, and grips with HJ emblem also exhibit only light wear. Steel scabbard retains approximately 90% of its original black painted finish, with some light freckling. Brown leather hanger is attached. CONDITION: Overall excellent.
