Lot contains (A) Heer dagger, (B) RAD dagger, and (C) Named Kriegsmarine Dagger. (A) Heer dagger with a nickel plated blade marked "Tiger, Solingen" with light runner and scattered marks. Late plated zinc fittings retain approximately 40% of their finish. Late white trylon grip has light stains. Correct portepee is attached. Later quality scabbard and fittings have a nice patina with light stains and freckling. Deluxe hanger with light wear is attached. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. (B) RAD dagger with a "Eickhorn, Solingen" marked blade with light runner and moderate scattered marks. Standard RAD (Reich Arbeit Dienst) motto of "Arbeit Adelt" is present, and 1/4" of the blade tip is bent at approximately 30 degress. Plated fittings present a nice overall patina with light scratches. White trylon grips have age toning and there is a 1/2" piece missing from one grip panel on the side. Steel scabbard retains 20-25% of its plated finish with light freckling and patina. There is a large dent about one inch from the tip. Includes the correct brown leather hanger assembly. CONDITION: Dagger is very good, scabbard is fair to good. Overall good. (C) Kriegsmarine dagger with an unmarked nickel plated blade with scattered light marks, and some very light areas of freckling. Dagger was etched with the name of "Feldwebel K Wess" and "Klissingen 1942" on the blade near the crossguard. Gilded brass fittings retain approximately 35% of their orignal finish, and brass wire wrapped trylon grips have age toning and a 1/4" crack near the pommel. A damaged and worn portepee is attached. Brass scabbard and fittings have moderate age toning and patina, with a lightening bolt pattern on the lower half and corrosion on the scabbard tip. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent.
