Early ac 40 code P.38 pistol by Walther. Eagle 359 inspections are found throughout pistol with very dark brown Bakelite grips that are 359 inspected as well. "ac" marked on the left trigger guard web as well as on the bottom of the barrel. Matching numbers are found on frame, slide, barrel, locking block and grips. The eagle 359 inspected magazine is not numbered. CONDITION: Gun retains a pleasing patina overall with some original finish in a few areas and minor pitting. Grips are solid with handling marks. Right grip has fine crack in front upper corner. Bore is very good with strong rifling showing some wear. Fine mechanical function. GR
