These badges were issued to Indian Reservation Police to keep the peace and to avoid conflict when dealing with internal problems. This was issued by the United States and probably dates to the last decades of the nineteenth century. Great display piece with like marked firearms such as 1875 Remington or Remington Keene. CONDITION: Pinback is missing, otherwise excellent condition and rarely seen. CORRECTION: Lot has been removed from sale.
