Lot consists of: (A) Probably English with a slightly curved, double fuller blade with silver ferrule at ricasso and silver guard decoration with gadrooning. Silver pommel cap decorated en suite. Gadrooned ivory grip. CONDITION: Blade has a grey patina with some darker areas of heavier patina, shows wear. Silver retains a mostly dark patina and shows some wear. Guard and pommel have been modified during the period of use. Quillon is bent and grip shows some age cracks and wear from use. (B) Attractive brass mounted continental hunting sword. Flat slightly curved blade, cast brass guard and knuckle bow decorated with cast floral motifs. Brass pommel cap with integral capstan. Antler grip with ferrule at bottom. CONDITION: Good, blade retains a light grey patina. Brass retains an even, dark mustard patina and some wear, crack at base of quillon. Antlered grip shows some wear.
