Handel lamp has reverse painted shade of boats sailing in a moonlit harbor with a full moon brightening the scene; the opposite side of shade has a craggy shoreside tree shimmering in the moonlit, all set against a partially cloudy orange sky. The shade rests on an original Handel base with flowering tree design with birds flying among the foliage. The base has a three-socket cluster and fleur-de-lis cap, all finished in a rich brown finish, Shade signed “7112A” on interior rim and “HANDEL” on metal aperture ring, Base signed on the underside with cloth tag “HANDEL LAMPS” shade has minor oxidation on the interior rim, otherwise very good to excellent. Base has some minor wear to finish, otherwise very good to excellent with a rewired contemporary plastic cord.
