Amphora vase is decorated with a three-dimensional Eastern dragon with body & tail wrapping around the vase facing right with large wings protruding from the vase. The dragon is finished with green glaze with gold highlights against a cream white background. Signed on the underside "AMPHORA" and "4301". Similar examples are pictured in the reference book 'Monsters and Maidens Collectors Edition' by Vreeland, pg. 286. Condition: Very good with some light crazing in the glaze at the shoulder from the making.
