This lot of four sets of cased binoculars have each had names added to the cases, while the binoculars and cases are original, we are of the opinion that the names have been added post period. The lot consists of: (A) 7 X 50 binoculars marked "Bur Aero. U.S. Navy Mark 21" and "Product of the Square D Company, Flushing New York". With clear optics and showing little use. The case has had the name "G.R. Henderson Admiral - USS Princeton" embossed on the top. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) 7 X 50 binoculars with data stamp removed, maker marked "Product of the Square D Company, Flushing New York". With clear optics. CONDITION: Very good. The case has had the name "T.C. Kincaid (four stars)" printed on the top and is in very good condition. (C) 7 X 50 binoculars marked "Bur Aero. U.S. Navy Mark 21" and "Product of the Square D Company, Flushing New York". Clear optics. The case has had the name "William F. Halsey" and a Fleet Admiral insignia printed on the top. CONDITION: Very good. Case shows wear, a slightly warped lid and broken snap. (D) British binoculars marked "Barr & Stroud 7X CF41, Glasgow & London" with Broad Arrow mark and serial number. Clear optics, the bodies with Broad Arrow marks painted over. The case has had the name "Algernon N. Willis Vice Admiral" embossed on its top. CONDITION: Case shows moderate wear and scuffing. DG
