This lot consists of original British military items which have had names added to them post period. The lot consists of: (A) Cased Brigadier's dress cap with gold bullion leaves on the visor, bullion cap insignia and ER II side buttons. Interior marked "Hawkes & Co LTD 1, Savile Row, W", leather sweatband embossed "Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery", excellent condition. Metal case displays a brass plate on the lid which is engraved " Bernard L Montgomery". CONDITION: Very good with small scattered dents. (B) Cased Admiral's white topped cap with gold bullion leaves on the visor and bullion cap insignia. The interior with "Gieves London W.1" label, leather sweatband embossed "Bruce Austin Frasier". Also contained in the case are a pair of Rear Admiral shoulder boards, four wool commissioning pennants and a multi piece wool British flag measuring 32" X 70". The metal case displays a brass plate which is engraved "Bruce A. Fraser". CONDITION: Excellent. (C) Pair of cased binoculars, binoculars marked "Barr & Stroud 7X CF41 Glasgow & London" with Broad Arrow and serial number. The bodies with Broad Arrow painted over, optics show a few spots. The leather case is embossed "F. Dalrymple - Hamilton HMS Baldur". CONDITION: Very good. (D) Pair of cased binoculars, binoculars marked "Barr & Stroud 10X CF37 Glasgow & London", clear optics. A brass plate on the leather case is engraved "Admiral James F. Sommerville Commander in Chief Eastern Fleet". CONDITION: Very good. (E) Pair of cased binoculars, binoculars marked "Barr & Stroud 7X CF41 Glasgow & London" with Broad Arrow and serial number. The bodies with Broad Arrow painted over, optics show a few spots. The leather case is embossed "Admiral Andrew B Cunningham First Sea Lord". CONDITION: Very good. (F) Pair of cased binoculars, binoculars marked "OS 280 NA Bino Prism No5 Mk 2Ax7 " with serial number, clear optics. The leather case embossed "Bruce Austin Fraser First Sea Lord". CONDITION: Very good. (G) Leather attache case embossed of the flap "G.E. Brooks Air Vice Marshal RCAF" with brass eagle and crown insignia. (H) Black wool beret with metal Canada tank corps and bullion Field Marshal insignia on the front, interior marked "Kangol Wear Ltd 1942". CONDITION: Very good. DG
