Lot consists of: (A) George 5th Royal Artillery saddle cloth in dark blue wool with gold lace and red wool borders, each hind quarter is finished with a stump work embroidered King's crown over the Royal Artillery monogram above the cannon emblem with the ‘Ubique’ motto. Measures 41-1/2" X 51-1/2", areas of the blue wool show mothing and wear, bullion work and edging are in very good condition with light toning. (B) George 5th 16th Lancers saddle cloth in dark blue wool with double gold lace borders and each hind quarter is finished with a stump work embroidered King's crown over the 16th Lancers monogram over crossed lances with "16 / L" below. Measures 44" X 54", areas of the blue wool show wear, bullion work and edging are in very good condition with light toning. DG
