1863 dated Springfield lock. Dated 1870 on the breech block. Rod is a reproduction. CONDITION: All metal surfaces retain a pleasing patina overall with some light surface rust. Markings are clear. Wood is very good with dings and handling marks. Some dents in the left side of the stock opposite the lock. Bore is dirty with strong rifling. Fine mechanical function. GR
