Standard 1859 three band configuration, with factory double set triggers. C.W.H. inspected barrel (only the H. is visible). Faint but visible JT cartouche on the left side of the stock. This gun is a few numbers away on either side from 42nd PA Bucktails guns. Proper Berdan Sharpshooters serial number range. Matching numbers on barrel and receiver. This is a fresh to the market gun that has not before been offered for sale. CONDITION: Retains a pleasing patina overall with some light pitting in and dings in a few areas. All markings are clear, except for the barrel inspector marking as noted. Bore is very good with strong rifling and pitting. Wood has some light handling marks and dings, looks to have an extra coat of varnish on it. Fine mechanical function with double set triggers working well. GR
