Made around the time of the Civil War, they were a unique gun in that they used an interchangeable barrel system that allowed you to buy one rifle and attach other barrels. It features an octagon to round 26" barrel in 20 bore. There is a long buttstock and no forend. There is a long range tang sight that was meant for a rifled barrel. CONDITION: Stock is excellent. Barrel is an even mix of blue and brown soft patina with some age freckling. The case colors have faded to gray with age spots. Bore is dirty but could clean up some.
