This is a hard to find 660 code 98k rifle made by Steyr in 1940. Full date on receiver ring. Not model marked on the left side of the receiver. All matching numbers with the exception of the bolt (which is matching of itself). Laminated stock with "(eagle) / H" army marking. Proper original leather sling. Proper original front sight hood. Cleaning rod appears to be unmarked. Not import marked. CONDITION: Metal retains 65% original finish overall with some areas of light surface rust. Fine mechanical function. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. GR
