Back action percussion locked half stock marked "A. McComas". Alexander McComas was based in Baltimore, Maryland from 1843-1889. Walnut half-stock with German silver hardware. Engraved German silver cap box and trigger guard. Checkered wrist and German silver nosecap. Iron ramrod with iron ramrod pipes. Octagon barrel with platinum ring inlays near breech and rifle sights. CONDITION: Excellent original condition with light handling marks. Nice overall patina finish with excellent mechanics.
