Offered is a very late production civilian 1851 New York address Navy revolver. It has all matching numbers on barrel, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, wedge, cylinder, and loading lever. It is standard in all respects with octagon barrel, naval battle scene on cylinder, one piece varnished walnut grips, brass trigger guard and backstrap with blue and case finish. CONDITION: The cylinder scene is sharp and at least 90%. As to finish, the entire gun has turned a soft gray patina with sharp legends. The grips have been refinished and are slightly shy to metal. There is some light salt and pepper pitting on left side of frame. The wedge lock screw is missing. The top of barrel has been notched in the kill style. Action indexes and locks up fine. Rifling is sharp but there are some abrasions.
