Of standard configuration throughout. The long barrel with British proofs. Bolted lock has crown over GR and TOWER. The walnut full stock is stamped throughout with British store keepers' markings and date 180?. Long steel belt hook. CONDITION: Metal is polished to arsenal standards. Markings are extremely crisp. Stock is excellent, with only minor marks. One small fill behind barrel tang. Belt hook is original. Action is crisp as new. Bore is brilliant. Ramrod possibly an original. A superior example of this classic British naval weapon used during the Napoleonic Wars. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
