D. Pitsch octagon barreled contemporary Kentucky rifle built in a pre-Revolutionary War configuration with wide butt, iron furniture, and simple carving. Curly maple stock with plain finish and sliding wood patchbox. Pewter pierced nose cap, thumbpiece and oval eye inlay behind cheekpiece. Siler style flint lock with turned single trigger. CONDITION: Like new, possibly unfired.
