According to Colt books, serial number 80000SA is the first third generation SAA. This gun was made in 1976 and would be the 1167th third generation revolver. It is a standard model with blue and case finish, six shot fluted cylinder, with eagle grips. CONDITION: There is a hint of muzzle wear, a light drag line and handling marks on cylinder and some spotting and finish loss on inside grip strap. Full case colors and crisp screws with a fine barrel and action.
