Tryon of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania manufactured percussion half stock circa 1850. Half round half octagon light target hunting barrel with "Tryon Philada" stamping and rifle sights. Walnut checkered stock with German silver furniture including a two piece patchbox, sideplate, nameplate, and barrel escutcheons. Tryon marked back action percussion lock with patent breech ignition and single set trigger. Hardwood ramrod with brass tip housing a worm. CONDITION: Overall good with aged patina on metal parts. 80% high gloss finish remaining on wood with no visible cracks or repairs. Mechanically sound. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
