Stamped "J.Henry and Son" on barrel and percussion lock. This Henry firm operated from about 1830 to 1894 in Boulton, Pennsylvania. Walnut wood half stock with brass nosecap and German silver barrel escutcheon and iron hardware. Octagon barrel with rifle sights and patent breech. Double set triggers. Hardwood ramrod with threaded tip. "US" stamp at rear of triggerguard in wood. CONDITION: Overall aged patina with light handling marks. Mechanically sound. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
