This early boxlock features splinter forend, double triggers, extractors, and automatic safety. It was made with Deeley release and Greener crossbolt locking system. The forend is checkered in point pattern and Deeley release is also scroll engraved. Damascus barrels with provisional proof marks. Round knob pistol grip buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist with nickel oval near toe and terminates in a lined horn buttplate. The boxlock action is lightly scroll and border engraved as is trigger guard. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain about 90% original Damascus pattern. Action has toned to mostly gray with some very light case color remaining. Stocks are sound with checkering thinned and retain most of what appears to be their original finish. Bores with orange peel.
