Equal to about a Grade 4 Ithaca, this gun has a wide matted ventilated top rib with white mid bead and steel front bead. Large forend is checkered in point and diamond pattern. The blued action is lightly scroll engraved with rabbit on right and Pointer on left. Replacement straight grip buttstock is checkered in two point pattern through the wrist and terminates with a modern Silvers brand pad. This gun was likely made as a pistol grip and has a short trigger guard tang. No safety. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retail about 90% plum brown blue. Forearm retains most of its custom finish. Buttstock is excellent as restored and retains nearly all of its custom finish with a few minor handling marks. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanics are fine.
