Typical Colt World War I Model 1911 Army model made in 1918. All period parts with the exception of a latter non factory magazine. All proper factory legends. Features US PROPERTY stamp on left side of frame with Eagle head inspector stamp, diamond checkered grips, MODEL OF 1911 US ARMY on right side of slide, intertwined HP stamped barrel, long smooth trigger, U-notch rear sight with beveled edge, checkered wide spur hammer, checkered slide stop and safety with flat main-spring housing and lanyard. CONDITION: Gun has had some wiped on finish and is now a dull dark gun metal color with sharp legends. Very good grips with wear. Strong rifled barrel with frosted grooves.
