Made in Suhl Germany around the turn of the century using the basic Mauser action and sporting the full length checkered walnut stock with pistol grip, straight comb and composite butt-plate. Other features include single trigger, butter-knife bolt handle. full matted ribbed barrel, claw mounts and period correct German sporting scope. The frame, bolt handle, floor-plate and trigger-guard are all tastefully engraved. CONDITION: It is missing the sling eyes. The metal shows some high edge wear and is starting to thin and plum. Wood displays sharp checkering with some dulling of finish and a few impressions. The bore is sharp and the action is like butter. The optics on the vintage scope are near perfect.
