Built on the square butt K frame, six shot, double action with pinned barrel and recessed chambers. This 5-screw model also featured the round top frame with adjustable target sight, patridge front sight, case color hammer and trigger with silver medallion diamond checkered grips. The serial number matches on cylinder and barrel. The near mint grips are proper and fit perfectly but have a different number on right panel, often mixed at factory. It is numbered in the 4th Model M&P series. They are oft considered the finest .22 caliber double action revolvers ever built with fine hand finished actions and pre-War high polish blue finish. CONDITION: This gun has been fired as there is some light muzzle wear, a cylinder drag line, and a touch of high edge cylinder wear but still retains at least 98% plus original factory high polish blue finish. Grips are near mint. Action is slick as oil. Bore is clean and sharp. Someone altered the original sight blade which can easily be replaced simply by punching out the retaining pin and inserting the blade of your choice. Brilliant gun.
