The 1895 carbine features a military style appearance. This example is missing the hand-guard and the Krag type military rear sight with standard front. The butt-stock has been re-configured. All other features are standard. CONDITION: Metal retains most of it's blending re-applied blue/brown finish. Besides having the stock re-configured, the wood has been refinished as well and the left fore-end has a chip near rear. Saddle ring is present. Rifling is visible but light. Action is fine.
