This is a civilian model. The barrel measures 8 1/2" which was only standard on the rimfire Model of 1865. This pistol is referred to as a transition model and easily identified by the longer barrel and the screw that goes through the grip. The anchor is stamped on top of barrel. All metal appears to be factory blue instead of standard case colors on frame. CONDITION: All metal retains approximately 70% of what appears to be full blue which is probably correct as many of these were shipped to England. Wood is fine. Bore is sharp.
