The round barrel with flats at breech is in good condition throughout, with visible forging faults. The bolted lock is of good quality with swan neck cock. Walnut full stock with brass furniture appears to be American walnut. Brass mounts are simple, martial style. Stock with repaired split at right and tipping on left towards muzzle. Stock has been reinforced with brass strap behind barrel tang, reaching towards butt. Action works well. Hammer is probably not original. Bore is fair.
