Manufactured 1885. Model 1873/78 with no visible stock inspections. 78 pattern rear sight low arch breech, 3 position tumbler. CONDITION: Good overall with excellent bright shiny bore and crisp action. Stock has several repairs and an application of synthetic wood filler at for end tip and at top of lock plate. (B) Scarce early 1875 production Trapdoor rifle with proper sights and stock. High arch breech, all early features. Comes with proper early Trapdoor rifle sling. CONDITION: Very good with finish fading but present. Stock is void of markings and has 45-70 scratched into left side of butt. Bore is very fine with sharp rifling. Action is crisp and functions properly.
