In 1932-33, Winchester introduced a trio of .22 repeaters that would become the standard for such rifles and they went on to become American classics. The Model 62 was the exposed hammer slide action repeater. It featured a blue finish, take-down, 23" round barrel, tube magazine, flat bottom grooved walnut forend with a plain walnut stock and Winchester buttplate. This trio of rifles were, and are, the most reliable repeaters of all time. CONDITION: There is some light wear/patina on muzzle, base of frame and high edges along with lower tang. Would still rate a solid 90% overall. The wood is excellent with usual minor handling marks. The action is sharp and the bore is sharp but there is a ring near muzzle.
