1898 Springfield Krag Jorgensen rifle caliber .30-40 Government. Manufactured 1899 with case hardened receiver, blued barrel, and oil finished walnut stocks. Very sharp and legible "JSA" inspectors cartouche and is mounted with later Kerr No-Buckle sling from WWI. CONDITION: Barrel and receiver have turned a mellow patina overall. Bore is good with strong rifling with darkness in grooves. Stock is very fine with several small bruises and abrasions but is good and quite attractive. Sling is excellent.
