Early 1873 Cadet rifle with 29 - 1/2 inch barrel, early 73 pattern rear sight. Traces of SWP cartouche high arch breech. No "US" on butt plate. Single stacking swivel with no sling swivels. CONDITION: Fair with a brown patina overall and most likely a restored rifle as finishes are not consistent. Bore is very good. Has front sight cover and reproduction wiping rod. (B) 1884 Trapdoor rifle with Buffington sight, rod bayonet, traces of cartouche. CONDITION: Good with a brown patina overall. Good bore with slight frosting and darkness in grooves. Stocks have been lightly cleaned and varnished. Action operates properly.
